Bone fracture fixation clamp

A system for bone fixation, comprising:

• a bone plate comprising an elongated plate member extending from an upper end having a trochanteric grip portion to a free lower end, the trochanteric grip portion comprising an internally threaded aperture;
• a bone fixation clamp comprising a first arcuate clamp member configured to conform to a shape of a target portion of a bone and extending between a first end having a first connection portion to a first free end, the first connection portion having a first channel extending therethrough, a second arcuate clamp member configured to conform to a shape of the target portion of the bone and extending between a second end having a second connection portion and a second free end, the second connection portion having a second channel extending therethrough, an adjustment member inserted through the first channel and passing into the second channel so that, as the adjustment member is inserted into the second channel, the first arcuate clamp member is drawn toward the second arcuate clamp member to apply a radially compressive force to the bone, and an internally threaded third channel extending through at least one of the first and second arcuate clamp members;
• and
• an externally threaded anchoring screw configured to correspondingly engage the internal threading of the third channel and the internally threaded aperture of the trochanteric grip portion and into the bone to anchor the bone fixation clamp to the target portion of the bone.
