Abstract
A current sensor (12) serves to detect an alternating current (16). The current sensor (12) comprises a coupler (20) designed to decouple a proportional part of the alternating current (16) as a measurement current (22). In addition, the current sensor (12) comprises a switching terminal designed to feed in a switching signal (15). The current sensor (12) furthermore includes a switchable rectifier (21) designed to rectify the measurement current (22) in a manner controlled by the switching signal (15) and to output it as a rectified measurement current (Vsense).
Claims10
A current sensor (12) for detecting an alternating current (16), comprising:
- a coupler (20) designed to decouple a proportional part of the alternating current (16) as a measurement current (22);
- a switching terminal designed to feed in a switching signal (15);
- and
- a switchable rectifier (21) designed to rectify the measurement current (22) in a manner controlled by the switching signal (15) and to output it as a rectified measurement current (Vsense);
- wherein the switchable rectifier (21) includes a switching device (40, 41) designed to switch rectification by the switchable rectifier (21) on and off in a manner controlled by the switching signal (15);
- wherein the switchable rectifier (21) comprises a first transistor (40), a first diode (42), a second transistor (41), and a second diode (43);
- wherein at a first node, the first transistor (40) and the second transistor (41) are connected in parallel on the input side;
- wherein at a second node, the first diode (42) is connected in series with the first transistor (40);
- wherein at a third node, the second diode (43) is connected in series with the second transistor (41);
- and
- wherein at a fourth node, the first diode (42) and the second diode (43) are connected in parallel on the output side.
A converter (2) comprising:
- a primary-side converter device (10);
- a first coupler (11);
- a secondary-side rectifier device (13);
- and
- a current sensor (12) for detecting an alternating current (16), comprising:
- a second coupler (20) designed to decouple a proportional part of the alternating current (16) as a measurement current (22);
- a switching terminal designed to feed in a switching signal (15);
- and
- a switchable rectifier (21) designed to rectify the measurement current (22) in a manner controlled by the switching signal (15) and to output it as a rectified measurement current (Vsense);
- wherein the switching signal (15) is based on switching times of the primary-side converter device (10).
