Abstract
The present disclosure is directed towards modifying binding molecules in order to minimize pre-existing binding interactions, including binding molecules engineered to minimize or mitigate background reactivity in a sample matrix caused by drug non-specific binding interactions.

A monoclonal antibody comprising:
- a VH CDR1 region comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO:
- 9;
- a VH CDR2 region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:

- a VH CDR3 region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 11;
- a VL CDR1 region comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:

- a VL CDR2 region comprising the amino acid sequence of LGS;
