Abstract
An additive composition includes a rheology modifier selected from alcohol ethoxylates, amine ethoxylates, or ethylene oxide/propylene oxide copolymers, wherein the rheology modifier has an HLB ranging from about 4 to 10; and a winterizing agent that is at least one aliphatic non-ionic surfactant that has a branched structure and/or includes at least one unsaturation, wherein the winterizing agent has an HLB value between about 8 and 10.5.
Claims12
An additive composition, comprising:
- at least one alcohol ethoxylate rheology modifier having an HLB ranging from about 4 to 10 and being selected from group consisting of oleyl alcohol-2-ethoxylate, oleyl alcohol-3-ethoxylate, oleyl alcohol-5-ethoxylate, stearyl alcohol-2-ethoxylate, stearyl alcohol-3-ethoxylate, lauryl alcohol-4-ethoxylate, and tridecyl alcohol-3-ethoxylate;
- and
- a winterizing agent that is at least one aliphatic non-ionic surfactant that has a branched structure and/or includes at least one unsaturation, wherein the winterizing agent has an HLB value between about 8 and 10.5.
An additive composition, comprising:
- a rheology modifier having an HLB ranging from about 4 to 10 and comprising at least one alcohol ethoxylate depicted by Formula I:
- wherein R is an oleyl group, and n is between 2 and 5;
- and
- a winterizing agent that is at least one aliphatic non-ionic surfactant that has a branched structure and/or includes at least one unsaturation, wherein the winterizing agent has an HLB value between about 8 and 10.5.
