Abstract
The present invention describes a new alkynylation and cyanation agent, as well as its preparation and use to introduce nitrile (cyano) or alkyne groups into chemical target molecules by means of an electrophilic reaction. To enable an electrophilic reaction, the chemical backbone of dibenzothiophene was used.
Claims14
A salt containing a compound of formula I or II:
- wherein R1-R8 are independently selected from the group consisting of:
- H, Cl, Br, F, I, NO2, O—C1-6 alkyl, SO3−, C1-6 alkyl, C6-12 aryl, C6-12 aryl, C6-12 heteroaryl, CN, COOR*, where R*=H, C1-6 alkyl, C6-12 aryl, and COO—;
- wherein R in Formula II is selected from the group consisting of:
- H, OMe, silyl groups and optionally substituted C6 aryl groups, optionally substituted C3-12 cycloalkyl groups, optionally substituted C1-20 alkyl groups.
