Abstract
A barrier system includes a substantially vertical structure with a coating layer disposed on and circumscribing a majority of the substantially vertical structure. The coating layer has a height of at least 0.25 inches, has a dried film thickness of at least 5 mils, and has an average surface roughness (Ra) of less than 10 microns.
Claims20
A barrier system comprising:
- a substantially vertical structure;
- and
- a coating layer disposed over and circumscribing a majority of said substantially vertical structure;
- wherein said coating layer has a height of at least 0.25 inches, has a dried film thickness of at least 5 mils, and has an average surface roughness (Ra) of less than 10 microns.
1 more element
A method of forming a barrier system comprising:
- applying a liquid coating to a surface of a substantially vertical structure to form a coating layer disposed over and circumscribing a majority of the substantially vertical structure;
- and
- wherein the coating layer has a height of at least 0.25 inches, has a dried film thickness of at least 5 mils, and has an average surface roughness (Ra) of less than 10 microns.
A method of forming a barrier system comprising:
- transferring a dried coating layer to a surface of a substantially vertical structure to form a coating layer disposed over and circumscribing a majority of the substantially vertical structure;
- and
- wherein the coating layer has a height of at least 0.25 inches, has a dried film thickness of at least 5 mils, and has an average surface roughness (Ra) of less than 10 microns.
