## Abstract

The invention relates to herbicidal active compound combinations comprising, carbamoyltriazolinones, and herbicidally active compounds, which combinations are suitable for controlling weeds.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A composition comprising a synergistic amount of a combination of amicarbazone and clomazone,
wherein the composition is an effective herbicide,
wherein the clomazone is present in the composition in an amount ranging from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight per part by weight of amicarbazone, and
wherein the amicarbazone and the clomazone are the only herbicides in the composition.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The composition according to claim 1, further comprising an adjuvant.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The composition according to claim 2, wherein the adjuvant is an ethoxylated propoxylated fatty amine or a polyether-polymethylsiloxane-copolymer.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The composition according to claim 1, further comprising a herbicidally acceptable diluent or carrier.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The composition according to claim 1, wherein the composition is in a solid or liquid form.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The composition according to claim 1, wherein the composition is in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate, wettable powder, granule, dust, oil spray or aerosol.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The composition according to claim 1, wherein the composition provides synergistic control of one or more weeds.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The composition according to claim 7, wherein the one or more weeds is a broadleaf weed.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The composition according to claim 7, wherein the one or more weeds is selected from the group consisting of mustard, Poa annua, green foxtail, crabgrass, blackjack, pigweed, khaki weed, crab-finger grass, large thornapple, purslane, dwarf marigold, field bindweed, anoda weed, Rottboelia exaltata, Ipomeoea purpurea, Eleusine indica, Amaranthus spinosus, Commelina benghalensis, Digitaria, cyperus Euphorbia, and combinations thereof.

### Claim 10

A composition comprising:
a synergistic amount of a combination of amicarbazone and clomazone, and
hexazinone,
wherein the clomazone is present in the composition in an amount ranging from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight per part by weight of amicarbazone, and
wherein the composition is an effective herbicide.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

A method for selective control of weeds, comprising contacting a weed with a composition of claim 1.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein the weed is present within a crop.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The method according to claim 12, wherein the crop is selected from the group consisting of cereals, rice, maize, sorghum, sugar cane, cotton, canola, grass, turf grass, barley, potato, sweet potato, sunflower, rye, oats, wheat, corn, soybean, sugar beet, tobacco, safflower, tomato, alfalfa, pineapple and cassava.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein the weed is a broadleaf weed.

### Claim 15 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein the weed is selected from the group consisting of mustard, Poa annua, green foxtail, crabgrass, blackjack, pigweed, khaki weed, crab-finger grass, large thornapple, purslane, dwarf marigold, field bindweed, anoda weed, Rottboelia exaltata, Ipomeoea purpurea, Eleusine indica, Amaranthus spinosus, Commelina benghalensis, Digitaria, Cyperus Euphorbia and combinations thereof.

### Claim 16 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein the composition is applied as a pre-emergence treatment.

### Claim 17 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein the composition is applied as a post-emergence treatment.

### Claim 18 (depends on 11)

The method according to claim 11, wherein the composition is applied at an application rate of 0.03 kg/ha to 3.00 kg/ha of amicarbazone and about 0.05 kg/ha to 5.00 kg/ha of clomazone to the crop.
