Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a plurality of data units by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes receiving a message requesting a connection re-establishment from a network, and performing the connection re-establishment, wherein performing the connection re-establishment includes retransmitting all of one or more data units for which a discardTimer is running.
Claims6
A method for transmitting a plurality of data units by a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer entity of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a message requesting a connection re-establishment from a network, and
- performing the connection re-establishment,
- wherein performing the connection re-establishment includes re-transmitting all of one or more data units for which a discardTimer is running, and
- wherein the one or more data units include at least one data unit of which successful delivery has been confirmed by at least one radio link control (RLC) layer.
A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to:
- receive, by a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer entity of the UE, a message requesting a connection re-establishment from a network, and
- perform the connection re-establishment,
- wherein the processor is configured to retransmit all of one or more data units for which a discardTimer is running when performing the connection re-establishment, and
- wherein the one or more data units include at least one data unit of which successful delivery has been confirmed by at least one radio link control (RLC) layer of the UE.
