Method, electronic device, medium, and apparatus for setting transmit power of wireless signal

An electronic device for setting transmit power of a wireless signal, the electronic device comprising a processor and a memory having computer executable instructions stored thereon which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

• receive information indicating a coverage range of the wireless signal and obstacle information within the coverage range of the wireless signal which are inputted via a graphical user interface, wherein the obstacle information at least comprises obstacle material type information indicating a material type of an obstacle to be passed by the wireless signal transmission;
• determine a transmission loss of the wireless signal based on the obstacle information;
• set transmit power Pt of the wireless signal based on the information indicating the coverage range of the wireless signal and the determined transmission loss of the wireless signal;
• and
• causing a wireless signal transmitter transmitting the wireless signal with the set transmit power Pt.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having computer executable instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to:

• receive information indicating a coverage range of the wireless signal and obstacle information within the coverage range of the wireless signal which are inputted via a graphical user interface, wherein the obstacle information at least comprises obstacle material type information indicating a material type of an obstacle to be passed by the wireless signal transmission;
• determine a transmission loss of the wireless signal based on the obstacle information;
• set transmit power Pt of the wireless signal based on the information indicating the coverage range of the wireless signal and the determined transmission loss of the wireless signal;
• and
• causing a wireless signal transmitter transmitting the wireless signal with the set transmit power Pt.
