A binder composition for a non-aqueous secondary battery electrode comprising:
- a particulate polymer A which is a block copolymer having a diblock content of 5 mass % or more and 90 mass % or less;
- and
- a particulate polymer B which is a random copolymer, wherein
- the particulate polymer A has a volume average particle diameter of at least 0.9 μm and not more than 2.5 μm and includes an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer unit in a proportion of at least 50 mass % and not more than 90 mass %,
- the particulate polymer B has a volume average particle diameter of at least 0.01 μm and not more than 0.5 μm,
- the particulate polymer A has a percentage content of at least 70 mass % and not more than 90 mass % relative to a total content of the particulate polymer A and the particulate polymer B,
- the particulate polymer A includes an aromatic vinyl monomer unit in a proportion of at least 10 mass % and not more than 50 mass %,
- the particulate polymer B includes an aliphatic conjugated diene monomer unit in a proportion of at least 20 mass % and not more than 60 mass %, and
- the particulate polymer B includes an aromatic vinyl monomer unit in a proportion of at least 10 mass % and not more than 70 mass %.
