Abstract
An electronic apparatus includes a communicator circuitry, and a processor for obtaining multimedia data from an external apparatus via the communicator, identifying an object in at least one frame from among a plurality of frames included in the multimedia data, and identify a content corresponding to the identified object based on content guide information provided from a first server.
Claims19
An electronic apparatus, comprising:
- a communicator comprising circuitry;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- obtain multimedia data from an external apparatus via the communicator;
- identify an object in at least one frame from among a plurality of frames included in the multimedia data;
- compare the identified object with an electronic program guide (EPG) provided from a first server;
- and
- identify a content corresponding to the identified object based on comparing the identified object with the EPG provided from the first server without acquiring a fingerprint corresponding to the at least one frame.

A control method of an electronic apparatus, the control method comprising:
- obtaining multimedia data from an external apparatus;
- identifying an object in at least one frame from among a plurality of frames included in the multimedia data;
- comparing the identified object with an electronic program guide (EPG) provided from a first server;
- and
- identifying a content corresponding to the identified object based on comparing the identified object with the EPG provided from the first server without acquiring a fingerprint corresponding to the at least one frame.
