Automatic action-based product provisioning

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer program instructions executable by a processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:

• hooking, by a computing device, to a ride application upon a mobile device to monitor for a ride protection trigger, the ride protection trigger comprising an action that indicates initiation of a ride coordinated by the ride application;
• a detecting, by the computing device, activation of the ride protection trigger for the ride, the detecting activation of the ride protection trigger comprising receiving corresponding ride information, wherein the ride information comprises data pertaining to conditions of a vehicle providing the ride;
• identifying, by the computing device, a product based on the received ride protection trigger and ride information;
• sending, by the computing device, a request for a dynamic product to a product provisioning server, wherein the request for the dynamic product specifies the identified product and comprises some or all of the ride information;
• receiving, by the computing device, the dynamic product from the product provisioning server, wherein the dynamic product comprises a cost, and the cost is based on the ride information sent to the product provisioning server;
• and
• automatically acquiring, by the computing device, the dynamic product based on the cost.

A system, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer program instructions executable by the processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
• hooking, by a computing device, to a ride application upon a mobile device to monitor for a ride protection trigger, the ride protection trigger comprising an action that indicates initiation of a ride coordinated by the ride application;
• detecting, by the computing device, activation of the ride protection trigger for the ride, the detecting activation of the ride protection trigger comprising receiving corresponding ride information, wherein the ride information comprises data pertaining to conditions of a vehicle providing the ride;
• identifying, by the computing device, a product based on the received ride protection trigger and ride information;
• sending, by the computing device, a request for a dynamic product to a product provisioning server, wherein the request for the dynamic product specifies the identified product and comprises some or all of the ride information;
• receiving, by the computing device, the dynamic product from the product provisioning server, wherein the dynamic product comprises a cost, and the cost is based on the ride information sent to the product provisioning server;
• and
• automatically acquiring, by the computing device, the dynamic product based on the cost.
