Abstract
Various embodiments provide an electronic device and a method, the electronic device comprising: a memory; a first processor; a second processor which has attributes different from those of the first processor; and a control unit, wherein the control unit is configured to identify a task loaded into the memory, select which of the first processor and the second processor is to execute the task, on the basis of attribute information corresponding to a user interaction associated with the task, and allocate the task to the selected processor. Other embodiments are also possible.
Claims13
An electronic device, comprising:
- a memory, wherein the memory is configured to store a plurality of schedule policies corresponding to a plurality of groups respectively;
- a first processor;
- a second processor having an attribute different from a second attribute of the first processor;
- and
- a controller,
- wherein the controller is configured to:
- identify a task loaded in the memory;
- identify a group of the task, wherein the group is determined based on attribute information indicating a degree of a user interaction with the task;
- in response to the attribute information of the task being changed while the task is executing, update the group of the task based on the changed attribute information of the task;
- select a processor to execute the task from among the first processor and the second processor, based on at least the identified group;
- and
- allocate the task to the selected processor.
An operation method of an electronic device, the method comprising:
- identifying a task loaded in a memory of the electronic device, wherein the memory is configured to store a plurality of schedule policies corresponding to a plurality of groups respectively;
- identifying a group of the task among the plurality of groups, wherein the group is determined based on attribute information indicating a degree of a user interaction with the task while the task is executing;
- in response to the attribute information of the task being changed while the task is executing, updating the group of the task based on the changed attribute information of the task;
- selecting a processor to execute the task from among a first processor and a second processor, based on at least the identified group;
- and
- allocating the task to the selected processor.
