Abstract
A foldable display is disclosed. In one aspect, the foldable display includes a first display unit located on a front surface of the foldable display, a second display unit located on a first side surface of the foldable display, and a third display unit located on a second side surface of the foldable display. The foldable display includes a first configuration in which the first to third display units are exposed and a second configuration in which the first display unit is folded and the second and third display units are exposed. The second and third display units are configured to form a fourth display unit inclined with respect to the folded first display unit in the second configuration of the foldable display.
Claims22
A display device, comprising:
- a first display unit located on a front surface of the display device;
- a second display unit located on a first side surface of the display device;
- and
- a lock release button located on a surface of the display device,
- wherein the display device is configured to be moved from a second configuration in which the first display unit is in a folded state and the first display unit is exposed, to a first configuration in which the first display unit is in an unfolded state and the first display unit is exposed by touching the lock release button,
- wherein the first display unit is formed of a flexible display panel and wherein the second display unit is formed of a rigid display panel.
A display device, comprising:
- a first display unit located on a front surface of the display device;
- a lock release button located on a surface of the display device;
- a second display unit located on a first side surface of the display device, wherein the second display unit is at a first angle with respect to the first display unit;
- and
- a third display unit located on a second side surface of the display device, wherein the second display unit is at a second angle with respect to the first display unit,
- wherein the display device is configured to be moved from a second configuration in which the first display unit is in a folded state and the first display unit is exposed, to a first configuration in which the first display unit is in an unfolded state and the first display unit is exposed by touching the lock release button.
A display device, comprising:
- a first display unit located on a front surface of the display device;
- and
- a second display unit located on a back surface of the display device,
- wherein the second display unit is separate from the first display unit, and
- wherein the display device is configured to be moved from a second configuration in which the first display unit is in a folded state and the second display unit is exposed, to a first configuration in which the first display unit is in an unfolded state and the first display unit is exposed.
A display device, comprising:
- a first display unit located on a front surface of the display device;
- a second display unit located on a back surface of the display device;
- a third display unit located on a first side surface of the display device, wherein the second display unit is at a first angle with respect to the first display unit;
- and
- a fourth display unit located on a second side surface of the display device, wherein the second display unit is at a second angle with respect to the first display unit,
- wherein the display device is configured to be moved from a second configuration in which the first display unit is in a folded state and the second display unit is exposed, to a first configuration in which the first display unit is in an unfolded state and the first display unit is exposed.
