Abstract
This specification provides a method of performing a bandwidth part (BWP) operation in a wireless communication system. Specifically, The method performed by a terminal includes receiving a first message including information related to at least one initial BWP configuration from a network, receiving a second message including configuration information for an additional BWP from the network, receiving downlink control information (DCI) related to BWP switching for at least one configured BWP from the network, and transmitting and receiving signals to and from the network in an activated BWP based on the received DCI.
Claims12
A method of performing, by a terminal, a bandwidth part (BWP) operation in a time division duplex (TDD) wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a network, configuration information comprising (i) information for an initial BWP and (ii) information for downlink (DL) BWPs;
- receiving, from the network, a signal on the initial BWP based on performing an initial access procedure;
- receiving, from the network, downlink control information (DCI) on the initial BWP, where the DCI is related to switching a DL BWP to a first BWP among the DL BWPs;
- based on receiving the DCI related to switching the DL BWP, switching an uplink (UL) BWP to a second BWP that corresponds to the first BWP;
- and
- transmitting, to the network, a signal on the second BWP.
A terminal configured to perform a bandwidth part (BWP) operation in a time division duplex (TDD) wireless communication system, the terminal comprising:
- a transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from a network, configuration information comprising (i) information for an initial BWP and (ii) information for downlink (DL) BWPs;
- receiving, from the network, a signal on the initial BWP based on performing an initial access procedure;
- receiving, from the network, downlink control information (DCI) on the initial BWP, where the DCI is related to switching a DL BWP to a first BWP among the DL BWPs;
- based on receiving the DCI related to switching the DL BWP, switching an uplink (UL) BWP to a second BWP that corresponds to the first BWP;
- and
- transmitting, to the network, a signal on the second BWP.
A network configured to receive a signal in a time division duplex (TDD) wireless communication system, the network comprising:
- a transceiver;
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer memory operably connectable to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, perform operations comprising:
- transmitting, to a terminal, configuration information comprising (i) information for an initial bandwidth part (BWP) and (ii) information for downlink (DL) BWPs;
- transmitting, to the terminal, a signal on the initial BWP based on performing an initial access procedure;
- transmitting, to the terminal, downlink control information (DCI) on the initial BWP, where the DCI is related to switching a DL BWP to a first BWP among the DL BWPs, wherein an uplink (UL) BWP is switched to a second BWP that corresponds to the first BWP based on the DCI related to switching the DL BWP;
- and
- receiving, from the terminal, the signal on the second BWP.
