Mesh network for power retransmissions

A system comprising:

• a source device configured to transmit a radio frequency (RF) emission wirelessly to a device;
• the device comprising:
• an antenna configured to receive the RF emission from the source device wirelessly;
• a power splitting circuitry configured to split the RF emission into a first part and a second part of the RF emission based on a threshold;
• a first energy harvesting circuitry configured to charge the device, using the first part of the RF emission;
• and
• a processor communicatively coupled to a transceiver configured to, using the transceiver, transmit the second part of the RF emission wirelessly to a second device, and
• the second device comprising:
• an antenna configured to receive the second part of the RF emission wirelessly;
• and
• a second energy harvesting circuitry configured to charge the second device, using the second part of the RF emission.

A method of a device communicating with a source device, the method comprising:

• receiving a radio frequency (RF) emission from the source device;
• splitting the RF emission into a first part and a second part of the RF emission based on a threshold;
• charging the device wirelessly, using the first part of the RF emission;
• modulating the first part of the RF emission based on information detected by the device;
• determining that an energy level of the device is above the threshold;
• in response to determining that the energy level of the device is above the threshold, transmitting the modulated first part of the RF emission to the source device;
• and
• in response to determining that the energy level of the device is above the threshold, transmitting the second part of the RF emission wirelessly to a second device to charge the second device.
