Abstract
A card registry system is configured to automatically identify financial card information in one or more credit files associated with a consumer and populate a card registry account of the consumer with the identified financial card information. Once the financial card information has been obtained from the credit file(s), the card registry system may transmit cancellation and/or reissuance requests to the respective card issuers in the instance that one or more cards are compromised, so that the financial cards may be easily and efficiently cancelled and/or reissued at the request of the consumer.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- transmitting user interface data, wherein the user interface data is configured to display a selectable option for enrolling in monitoring services that include monitoring of debit accounts;
- receiving an indication of a user selection for enrolling a user in the monitoring services;
- based on the indication, enrolling the user in the monitoring services;
- subsequent to enrolling the user in the monitoring services, periodically monitoring debit account information of the user from a source other than a credit file of the user;
- determining a first account that is identified in the debit account information and not included in the credit file of the user;
- and
- initiating addition of the first account to a database of a credit bureau.
A system comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more hardware processors configured to:
- transmit user interface data, wherein the user interface data is configured to display a selectable option for enrolling in monitoring services that include monitoring of debit accounts;
- receive an indication of a user selection for enrolling a user in the monitoring services;
- based on the indication, enroll the user in the monitoring services;
- subsequent to enrolling the user in the monitoring services, periodically monitor debit account information of the user from a source other than a credit file of the user;
- determine a first account that is identified in the debit account information and not included in the credit file of the user;
- and
- initiate addition of the first account to a database of a credit bureau.
A non-transitory computer storage medium storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising at least:
- transmitting user interface data, wherein the user interface data is configured to display a selectable option for enrolling in monitoring services that include monitoring of debit accounts;
- receiving an indication of a user selection for enrolling a user in the monitoring services;
- based on the indication, enrolling the user in the monitoring services;
- subsequent to enrolling the user in the monitoring services, periodically monitoring debit account information of the user from a source other than a credit file of the user;
- determining a first account that is identified in the debit account information and not included in the credit file of the user;
- and
- initiating addition of the first account to a database of a credit bureau.
