Abstract
An example operation may include one or more of receiving, from a client, a pruned data structure that comprises a plurality of fields and a plurality of hash values, respectively, identifying a schema associated with the pruned data structure, determining whether the pruned data structure is a valid based on the plurality of fields in the data structure and the identified schema associated with the client, and in response to a determination that the pruned data structure is valid, committing the pruned data structure to a blockchain.
Claims20
An apparatus comprising:
- a network interface configured to receive, from a client, a blockchain transaction which is yet to be committed to a blockchain ledger and which includes a pruned data structure that comprises a plurality of fields and a plurality of hash values stored in the plurality of fields, respectively;
- and
- a processor configured to
- identify a schema associated with the pruned data structure from a schema registry of a blockchain peer,
- determine whether the blockchain transaction is a valid based on the plurality of fields in the pruned data structure and the identified schema associated with the client, and
- in response to a determination that the blockchain transaction is valid, commit the blockchain transaction with the pruned data structure to the blockchain ledger.
A method comprising:
- receiving, from a client, a blockchain transaction which is yet to be committed to a blockchain ledger and which includes a pruned data structure that comprises a plurality of fields and a plurality of hash values stored in the plurality of fields, respectively;
- identifying a schema associated with the pruned data structure from a schema registry of a blockchain peer;
- determining whether the blockchain transaction is a valid based on the plurality of fields in the pruned data structure and the identified schema associated with the client;
- and
- in response to a determination that the blockchain transaction is valid, committing the blockchain transaction with the pruned data structure to the blockchain ledger.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions, that when read by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
- receiving, from a client, a blockchain transaction which is yet to be committed to a blockchain ledger and which includes a pruned data structure that comprises a plurality of fields and a plurality of hash values stored in the plurality of fields, respectively;
- identifying a schema associated with the pruned data structure from a schema registry of a blockchain peer;
- determining whether the blockchain transaction is a valid based on the plurality of fields in the pruned data structure and the identified schema associated with the client;
- and
- in response to a determination that the blockchain transaction is valid, committing the blockchain transaction with the pruned data structure to the blockchain ledger.
