Abstract
A method and computer system are disclosed for controlling a system boot of the computer system. Both involve determining that a chassis of the computer system was opened, determining whether the opening of the chassis was authorized, and controlling the system boot of the computer system based on whether the opening of the chassis was authorized.

A method for controlling a system boot of a computer system, the method comprising:
- determining that a chassis of the computer system was opened;
- determining whether the opening of the chassis was authorized;
- and
- controlling the system boot of the computer system based on whether the opening of the chassis was authorized,
- wherein the system boot of the computer system is prohibited responsive to the opening of the chassis being unauthorized and the system boot of the computer system is allowed responsive to the opening of the chassis being authorized.

- a memory storing machine-readable instructions;

- one or more processors configured to execute the machine-readable instructions to:
- determine that a chassis of the computer system was opened;
- determine whether the opening of the chassis was authorized;
