Abstract
A post-processing device for processing a sheet includes a post-processing section for post-processing a sheet; a buffer section for temporarily staying a plurality of sheets at an upstream of the post-processing section; and a conveying section for conveying, one by one, the plurality of sheets stayed at the buffer section to the post-processing section.

A post-processing device for processing sheets comprising:
- a post-processing section for post-processing sheets;
- a buffer section for temporarily retaining a plurality of sheets at an upstream of the post-processing section;
- a conveying section for conveying, one sheet by one sheet, the plurality of sheets retained at the buffer section to the post-processing section,
- another post-processing section different from the post-processing section, and
- another conveying section different from the conveying section,
- wherein the another conveying section transfers, at one time, the plurality of sheets retained in the buffer section in a form of a bundle, to the another post-processing section.

A post-processing device for processing sheets comprising:
- first and second post-processing sections for post-processing sheets;
- a first conveying path for guiding a sheet from a carry-in port to the first post-processing section;
- a second conveying path branched from a branching portion of the first conveying path and guiding a sheet to the second post-processing section;
- a conveying roller pair provided in the second conveying path and conveying a sheet to the second post-processing section;
- and
- a buffer section provided in the second conveying path upstream of the conveying roller pair, and retaining sheets transferred from the first conveying path sequentially by piling the sheets sequentially;
- wherein the conveying roller pair conveys sequentially a bottom sheet from the sheets piled and retained at the buffer section to the second post-processing section.
