Abstract
A light-scanning endoscope is provided with: a light-scanner that causes an optical fiber to be vibrated; a controller that causes light to be emitted from the optical fiber with the same phase as the vibrations; an adjusting unit that adjusts a distortion correction amount on the basis of a shape of a row of irradiation positions of the light on an imaging subject; and a phase correcting unit that corrects the phase in which the light is emitted on the basis of the adjusted distortion correction amount.
Claims20
A light-scanning endoscope comprising:
- a light-scanner that, by vibrating an optical fiber, scans light emitted from the optical fiber;
- and
- one or more processors comprising hardware, the one or more processors being configured to:
- control a timing at which the light is emitted from the optical fiber so that the light is emitted with the same phase as the vibrations of the optical fiber;
- evaluate a linearity of a row of light irradiation positions, on an imaging subject, of the light emitted from the optical fiber;
- based on a result of the evaluation, adjust a distortion correction amount to bring the row closer to a straight line;
- and
- based on the adjusted distortion correction amount, correct the phase at which the light is emitted.
A light-scanning-endoscope operating method comprising:
- emitting, from a vibrating optical fiber, light with the same phase as the vibrations of the optical fiber;
- evaluating a linearity of a row of light irradiation positions, on an imaging subject, of the light emitted from the optical fiber;
- based on a result of the evaluating, adjusting a distortion correction amount to bring the row closer to a straight line;
- based on the adjusted distortion correction amount, correcting the phase at which the light is emitted from the optical fiber;
- and
- controlling a timing at which the light is emitted from the optical fiber so that the light is emitted at the corrected phase.
A correcting apparatus for a light-scanning endoscope, comprising:
- a light-scanner that, by vibrating an optical fiber, scans light emitted from the optical fiber;
- and
- one or more processors comprising hardware, the one or more processors being configured to:
- control a timing at which the light is emitted from the optical fiber so that the light is emitted with the same phase as the vibrations of the optical fiber;
- evaluate a linearity of a row of light irradiation positions, on an imaging subject, of the light emitted from the optical fiber;
- based on a result of the evaluation, adjust a distortion correction amount to bring the row closer to a straight line;
- and
- based on the adjusted distortion correction amount, correct the phase at which the light is emitted.
