Abstract
The present invention relates to paper products, inter alia, smoking paper products, stably enriched with aroma and/or flavor compounds. More particularly, the invention relates to paper products enriched with a terpene profile, mimicking flavor and/or aroma of a cannabis plant.
Claims20
An aromatized and/or flavored paper product, the paper product comprising:
- cellulose;
- at least one terpene and/or at least one terpenoid;
- at least one of a fixative agent, wherein the fixative agent is characterized by binding capacity to the cellulose of the paper product, and binding capacity to the terpene and/or terpenoid;
- and
- at least one of an antioxidant;
- wherein the paper product is porous presenting pores having a diameter of about 1×10−3 μm to about 2×10−3 μm, and wherein the terpene and/or terpenoid is maintained in the paper product for a substantially longer time as compared to a corresponding paper product having a similar terpene and/or terpenoid composition without a fixative agent and/or an antioxidant.

An aromatized and/or flavored paper product, the paper product comprising:
- cellulose;
- at least one terpene and/or at least one terpenoid;
- at least one of a fixative agent, wherein the fixative agent is characterized by binding capacity to the cellulose of the paper product, and binding capacity to the terpene and/or terpenoid;
- and
- at least one of an antioxidant;
- wherein the terpene and/or terpenoid present a profile having substantial similarity to the terpene and/or terpenoid profile present naturally within a cannabis plant and wherein the terpene and/or terpenoid is maintained in the paper product for a substantially longer time as compared to a corresponding paper product having a similar terpene and/or terpenoid composition without a fixative agent and/or an antioxidant.
