Abstract
This document discloses an electrically conductive fiber coated with polythiophene and a carbon material. Also disclosed is an article of manufacture incorporating the conductive fiber.
Claims16
A conductive fiber comprising a fiber core and a coating thereon, wherein the coating comprises a polythiophene and a conductive carbon material, wherein the polythiophene is regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene), further wherein the ratio between the regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene) and the carbon material is selected so that the conductive fiber has an electrical resistance of less than about 0.8 kohm/cm.
