Methods, systems, articles of manufacture and apparatus to coordinate a node level adaptation

A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor to at least:

• determine if an adaptation in an adaptation message is supported by a first device, the adaptation message being sent by a second device;
• in response to the determination that the adaptation in the adaptation message is supported by the first device, calculate a start-time for the first device;
• initiate a timer value for the first device and the second device, the timer value being a function of the start-time;
• in response to the timer value satisfying a threshold, reduce disruptions in a cyber physical system (CPS) by executing the adaptation by the first device;
• and
• transmit a notification to surrounding devices to prevent execution of the adaptation until an operating parameter corresponding to the first device is associated with an improvement.

An apparatus to reduce disruptions in a cyber physical system (CPS), the apparatus comprising:

• means for determining if an adaptation in an adaptation message is supported by a first device, the adaptation message being sent by a second device;
• means for calculating to calculate, in response to the determination that the adaptation in the adaptation message is supported by the first device, a start-time for the first device;
• means for initiating a timer value for the first device and the second device, the timer value being a function of the start-time;
• means for executing, in response to the timer value satisfying a threshold, the adaptation by the first device to reduce disruptions in the CPS;
• and
• means for transmitting a notification to surrounding devices to prevent execution of the adaptation until an operating parameter corresponding to the first device is associated with an improvement.
