• one or more vehicle elements in a first configuration, the one or more vehicle elements configured to change from the first configuration to a second configuration following a first trigger that is synchronized with other effects during a duration of the amusement park ride, wherein the second configuration reveals non-persistent damage to the vehicle by a semi-permanent displacement of the one or more vehicle elements from the vehicle, wherein the one or more vehicle elements remain fastened to the vehicle via a wire, wherein a transition of the one or more vehicle elements from the second configuration to the first configuration back to an undamaged vehicle occurs following a second trigger and the transition is concealed from public view of a loading area.
