## Abstract

The present invention provides a high voltage battery rack, including: a plurality of battery modules electrically connected with each other; and a rack controller configured to control the plurality of battery modules, wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises: external terminals; and an MSD module configured to determine whether a voltage is applied to the external terminals during operation.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A high voltage battery rack, comprising:
a plurality of battery modules electrically connected with each other,
wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises:
external terminals; and
an MSD (Manual Service Device) module configured to determine whether a voltage of the plurality of battery modules is applied to the external terminals during operation,
wherein one end of the MSD module is connected to the plurality of battery modules and another end of the MSD module is connected to one of the external terminals,
wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other,
wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises a cell connection unit which electrically connects the plurality of battery cells with each other, and
wherein the cell connection unit comprises a fusing bus bar, the fusing bus bar including a rupture part having an opening formed in at least a portion thereof, and when a short-circuit occurs of the plurality of battery modules, the rupture part is ruptured.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, wherein the MSD module is manually operated by a user.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, wherein the MSD module is exposed to an outside of the plurality of battery modules.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, further comprising:
a rack controller configured to control the plurality of battery modules,
wherein the rack controller includes contactors which connects the plurality of battery modules and thean external device to form a current path therebetween.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 4, wherein, when the MSD module breaks the voltage applied to the external terminals, the contractors of the rack controller break the current path between the plurality of battery modules and the external device.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of battery modules further comprises a fusing bus bar cover made of an insulation material and located at an outer surface of the fusing bus bar.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, wherein each of the plurality of battery modules further comprises a rear cover member located at an outermost side of the fusing bus bar, and the rear cover member includes an opening part formed therein to confirm a state of the fusing bus bar from an outside and prevent a second short-circuit.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, wherein a cell cover member is disposed between the fusing bus bar and the plurality of battery cells to protect the plurality of battery cells from a rupture of the fusing bus bar.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, wherein the fusing bus bar and each of the plurality of battery modules arei located in a direction in which the plurality of battery cells are stacked in the plurality of battery modules.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The high voltage battery rack according to claim 1, further comprising:
a rack controller configured to control the plurality of battery modules,
wherein the rack controller comprises a rack fuse located on a current path between the plurality of battery modules and an external device.
