## Abstract

A method can include executing an application using a virtual reality headset; rendering a scene of the application to a display of the virtual reality headset; and, during rendering of the scene, rendering a graphic to the display where the graphic represents a power unit that is not physically coupled to the virtual reality headset.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method comprising:
executing an application using a virtual reality headset;
rendering a scene of the application to a display of the virtual reality headset; and
during rendering of the scene, rendering a graphic to the display wherein the graphic represents a power unit that is not physically coupled to the virtual reality headset.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the graphic represents a power state of the power unit.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the graphic represents a location of the power unit.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein the graphic represents the power unit and simultaneously represents an object of the scene.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The method of claim 4, wherein the object of the scene is a game object.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, comprising receiving a signal from the power unit.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the signal is a location signal.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the signal is a power state signal.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The method of claim 6, wherein the receiving is responsive to transmitting a signal to the power unit.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein rendering the graphic to the display is responsive to determining time remaining for the executing of the application using a current power supply.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein the current power supply is via a power unit physically coupled to the virtual reality headset.

### Claim 12

One or more computer-readable media comprising processor-executable instructions, executable to:
execute an application using a virtual reality headset;
render a scene of the application to a display of the virtual reality headset; and
render a graphic to the display, in the scene, wherein the graphic represents a power unit that is not physically coupled to the virtual reality headset.

### Claim 13

A system comprising:
a virtual reality headset that comprises a display, power unit locating circuitry, and a power unit coupling, wherein the virtual reality headset renders one or more graphics to the display based on output of the power unit locating circuitry; and
a plurality of power units.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The system of claim 13, wherein each of the plurality of power units couples to the power unit coupling of the virtual reality headset in multiple orientations.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The system of claim 14, wherein the multiple orientations comprise different rotational orientations about a power unit coupling axis.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The system of claim 13, wherein each of the plurality of power units comprises at least one lithium-ion cell.

### Claim 17 (depends on 13)

The system of claim 13, wherein the power unit locating circuitry comprises at least one electromagnetic energy detector.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The system of claim 17, wherein the power unit locating circuitry comprises at least one electromagnetic energy emitter.

### Claim 19 (depends on 17)

The system of claim 17, wherein each of the plurality of power units comprises at least one electromagnetic energy emitter.

### Claim 20 (depends on 13)

The system of claim 13, wherein the power unit coupling is disposed on an external surface of the virtual reality headset.
