## Abstract

A label applicator guide including a base configured to be attached to an elongated object label applicator, and a controller including a first support extending from the base and a second support extending from the first support such that the first support is configured to be planar with a portion of the wrapping mechanism. The controller is moveably secured to the base through a first knuckle of the controller pivotably connected to a second knuckle of the base, with a pin extending through the first knuckle and second knuckle.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An elongated object label applicator comprising:
a wrapping mechanism configured to apply a label to an elongated object; and
a label applicator guide including:
a base; and
a controller configured to guide the elongated object into the wrapping mechanism to apply the label, wherein the controller is moveably secured to the base adjacent to the wrapping mechanism in a pivoting relationship through a first knuckle of the controller that is pivotably connected to a second knuckle of the base, wherein a pin is configured to extend through the first knuckle and second knuckle.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The elongated object label applicator of claim 1, wherein the base includes a top portion, side portion, and base portion in a C-shaped configuration forming a channel and wherein the channel of the base mates to a base plate of the elongated object label applicator.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The elongated object label applicator of claim 1, wherein the label applicator guide includes indicia for measuring a length of the elongated object placed in the wrapping mechanism.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The elongated object label applicator of claim 1, wherein the controller pivots about the base to guide the elongated object into the wrapping mechanism.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The elongated object label applicator of claim 1, wherein the wrapping mechanism includes a wire guide configured to cradle the elongated object and direct the elongated object into a central portion of the wrapping mechanism, and wherein the controller is configured to move in unison with the wire guide.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The elongated object label applicator of claim 1, wherein the controller includes a first support extending from the base and a second support extending from the first support such that the second support is planar with a wire guide included in the wrapping mechanism.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The elongated object label applicator of claim 6, wherein the second support includes indicia for measuring a length of the elongated object placed in the wrapping mechanism.

### Claim 8

A label applicator guide comprising:
a base configured to be attached to an elongated object label applicator, and
a controller configured to guide an elongated object into a wrapping mechanism of the elongated object label application to apply a label to the elongated object, the controller including a first support extending from the base and a second support extending from the first support such that the second support is configured to be planar with a portion of the wrapping mechanism, wherein the controller is moveably secured to the base through a first knuckle of the controller being pivotably connected to a second knuckle of the base, with a pin extending through the first knuckle and second knuckle.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The label applicator guide of claim 8, wherein the base includes a top portion, side portion, and base portion in a C-shaped configuration forming a channel and wherein the channel of the base is configured to mate to an elongated object label applicator.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

The label applicator guide of claim 8, further including indicia configured to measure a length of an elongated object placed in a wrapping mechanism.
