## Abstract

Devices, systems, and methods for visually depicting a vessel and evaluating treatment options are disclosed.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A system for evaluating a blood vessel of a patient, comprising:
a first instrument sized and shaped for introduction into the vessel of the patient; and
a processing system in communication with the first instrument and a second instrument sized and shaped for introduction into the vessel, the processing system configured to:
obtain pressure measurements from first and second instruments while the first instrument is moved longitudinally through the vessel from a first position to a second position and the second instrument remains stationary within the vessel, and
output, on a display in communication with the processing system, a graph comprising at least one bar, wherein a size of the bar is representative of an amount of change in a pressure ratio of obtained pressure measurements attributable to a portion of the vessel.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the processing system is further configured to:
output an image of the vessel on the display.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The system of claim 2, wherein the graph is overlaid on the image and is oriented to align proximal and distal portions of the graph with corresponding proximal and distal portions of the vessel as depicted in the image.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein an x-axis of the graph corresponds to positions along the vessel such that a location of the at least one bar on the x-axis indicates a position of the portion of vessel along the vessel.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein a y-axis of the graph corresponds to the change in the pressure ratio per unit length.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the size of the bar comprises a height of the bar.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the at least one bar is representative of the amount of change in the pressure ratio of obtained pressure measurements attributable to a portion of the vessel less than 1 millimeter in length.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the graph comprises a plurality of bars, each respective bar being representative of the amount of change in the pressure ratio of obtained pressure measurements attributable to a respective portion of the vessel.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The system of claim 8, wherein the graph comprises at least one demarcated group of bars representative of a stenosed region of the vessel.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the graph comprises a summation of the total change in the pressure ratio for each group.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The system of claim 10, wherein the summation is expressed as a percentage.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The system of claim 9, wherein the graph comprises a measurement of a length of the stenosed region represented by the group of bars.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The system of claim 1, wherein the processing system is further configured to:
modify the graph to simulate anticipated effects of a proposed treatment option.

### Claim 14

A system for evaluating a vessel of a patient, comprising:
a first instrument sized and shaped for introduction into the vessel of the patient; and
a processing system in communication with the first instrument and a second instrument sized and shaped for introduction into the vessel, the processing system configured to:
obtain pressure measurements from first and second instruments while the first instrument is moved longitudinally through the vessel from a first position to a second position and the second instrument remains stationary within the vessel, and
output an image of the vessel on a display in communication with the processing system, the image including at least one marking overlaid on the image adjacent to a portion of the vessel, wherein a visual characteristic of the marking is representative of an amount of change in a pressure ratio of obtained pressure measurements attributable to the portion of the vessel.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The system of claim 14, wherein the visual characteristic is selected from a group including: a first visual characteristic representative of the amount of change in the pressure ratio above a threshold value and a second visual characteristic representative of the amount of change in the pressure ratio below the threshold value.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The system of claim 15, wherein the first visual characteristic is a first color and the second visual is a second color visually distinguishable from the first color.

### Claim 17 (depends on 14)

The system of claim 14, wherein the image of the vessel comprises an angiographic image.
