Abstract
Methods for manufacturing, re-activating and using compositions including fibrillated parenchymal cellulose and activator are provided. The activator has a low molecular weight and is used to facilitate reactivation.
Claims20
A composition comprising fibrillated parenchymal cellulose which is fibrillated to have microfibrils having a length of more than one micrometer and a number-average diameter of less than 200 nm, and at least one liquid activator selected from an isocyanate, anhydride, amine, thiol, and epoxide wherein the amount of fibrillated parenchymal cellulose in the composition is by eight 20-99%.
