Tokenized media content management

A system for media content management using a digital vault, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory coupled to the processor to store instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
• create a container file comprising media content submitted by a user and content metadata;
• verify a completeness of the content metadata associated with the media content in the container file;
• classify the container file based on the completeness of the media content;
• identify a salable content item that is to be put up for sale, the salable content item comprising all or part of the media content;
• create, via the digital vault, a nonfungible token (NFT) container file and populate the NFT container file with the salable content item and NFT metadata pertain to the salable content item, the NFT metadata comprising a specification of ownership rights to the salable content item;
• offer the ownership rights to the salable content item for sale via an NFT transaction;
• update the NFT container file to reflect a change in the ownership rights to the salable content after sale of the salable content item;
• and
• determine which stakeholder consents are required for future transactions involving metadata in the container file so that the container file includes metadata specifying rights held by all stakeholders of the salable content item.

A non-transient electronic, machine readable media storing a plurality of instructions executable by one or more processors, the plurality of instructions when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to:

• create a container file comprising media content submitted by a user and content metadata;
• verify a completeness of the content metadata associated with the media content in the container file;
• classify the container file based on the completeness of the media content;
• identify a salable content item that is to be put up for sale, the salable content item comprising all or part of the media content;
• create a nonfungible token (NFT) container file and populate the NFT container file with the salable content item and NFT metadata pertain to the salable content item, the NFT metadata comprising a specification of ownership rights to the salable content item;
• offer the ownership rights to the salable content item for sale via an NFT transaction;
• update the NFT container file to reflect a change in the ownership rights to the salable content after sale of the salable content item;
• and
• determine which stakeholder consents are required for future transactions involving metadata in the container file so that the container file includes metadata specifying rights held by all stakeholders of the salable content item.
