DMRS transmission method and communications device

A network device, comprising:

• at least one processor and a transmitter, wherein:
• the at least one processor is configured to:
• perform DMRS mapping by using a DMRS pattern, the DMRS pattern corresponding to a frequency hopping mode, wherein the frequency hopping mode indicates that a portion of symbols in one resource scheduling unit is located in a first frequency band and a remaining portion of symbols in the one resource scheduling unit is located in a second frequency band, wherein the one resource scheduling unit occupies 14 symbols;
• and
• the transmitter is configured to:
• send an additional DMRS configuration parameter corresponding to the DMRS pattern to a terminal device,
• wherein the additional DMRS configuration parameter indicates at least one of the following:
• whether an additional DMRS exists, a quantity of additional DMRSs, and a location of an additional DMRS,
• wherein the additional DMRS is another sequence of DMRS that is located after a front-loaded DMRS,
• wherein the additional DMRS configuration parameter for determining a quantity of sequences of DMRSs in the DMRS pattern is identical for both the frequency hopping mode and a non-frequency hopping mode, and
• wherein the quantity of sequences of DMRSs in the DMRS pattern in the frequency hopping mode is different from that in the non-frequency-hopping mode.

A chip, wherein the chip comprises at least one programmable logic circuit and a program instruction, and when running, the chip is configured to perform a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmission method, comprising:

• performing, DMRS mapping by using a DMRS pattern, the DMRS pattern corresponding to a frequency hopping mode, wherein the frequency hopping mode indicates that a portion of symbols in one resource scheduling unit is located in a first frequency band and a remaining portion of symbols in the one resource scheduling unit is located in a second frequency band, wherein the one resource scheduling unit occupies 14 symbols;
• and
• controlling, sending an additional DMRS configuration parameter corresponding to the DMRS pattern,
• wherein the additional DMRS configuration parameter indicates at least one of the following:
• whether an additional DMRS exists, a quantity of additional DMRSs, and a location of an additional DMRS,
• wherein the additional DMRS is another sequence of DMRS that is located after a front-loaded DMRS, wherein the additional DMRS configuration parameter for determining a quantity of sequences of DMRSs in the DMRS pattern is identical for both the frequency hopping mode and a non-frequency hopping mode, and
• wherein the quantity of sequences of DMRSs in the DMRS pattern in the frequency hopping mode is different from that in the non-frequency-hopping mode.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that when executed by a computer, configure the computer to perform a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmission method, the method comprising:

• performing, DMRS mapping by using a DMRS pattern, the DMRS pattern corresponding to a frequency hopping mode, wherein the frequency hopping mode indicates that a portion of symbols in one resource scheduling unit is located in a first frequency band and a remaining portion of symbols in the one resource scheduling unit is located in a second frequency band, wherein the one resource scheduling unit occupies 14 symbols;
• and
• sending, an additional DMRS configuration parameter corresponding to the DMRS pattern,
• wherein the additional DMRS configuration parameter indicating at least one of the following:
• whether an additional DMRS exists, a quantity of additional DMRSs, and a location of an additional DMRS,
• wherein the additional DMRS is another sequence of DMRS that is located after a front-loaded DMRS, wherein the additional DMRS configuration parameter for determining a quantity of sequences of DMRSs in the DMRS pattern is identical for both the frequency hopping mode and a non-frequency hopping mode, and
• wherein the quantity of sequences of DMRSs in the DMRS pattern in the frequency hopping mode is different from that in the non-frequency-hopping mode.
