Abstract
The present invention is an electrical machine comprising a stator and a rotor (10). The rotor is formed with a rotor body comprising a stack of laminations placed on a rotor shaft. The rotor includes at least one cavity with at least one arm for retaining at least one balancing weight.
Claims17
An electrical machine comprising a stator and a rotor, the rotor being formed with a stack of laminations into a rotor body placed on a rotor shaft, wherein the rotor includes at least one cavity including at least one arm for retaining at least one weight for dynamically balancing the rotor, and wherein the at least one arm has an end spaced at a distance from a center of the cavity and the arms each include a concave curved surface.
