Using a single-entry access point to archive data in and out of an electronic documents review and reporting system

An apparatus comprising:

• one or more computer processors;
• and
• one or more memories storing instructions which, when processed by the one or more computer processors, cause:
• receiving, by a data access system, a request for data, wherein the request specifies one or more project workspaces to which the request for data pertains, and wherein the request specifies that for each project workspace, of the one or more project workspaces, a count of files reviewed in that project workspace is to be provided and a relative size of that project workspace is to be provided;
• wherein a project workspace, of one or more project workspaces, is allocated by the data access system based on the provided count of files to be reviewed in that project workspace and based on the size of the project workspace to be provided for reviewing corresponding files;
• parsing the request to determine the one or more project workspaces to which the request pertains;
• determining the data for the request for the one or more project workspaces;
• for each project workspace of the one or more project workspaces:
• determining particular data that is requested by the request for that project workspace;
• determining a count of files reviewed in that project workspace and a relative size of that project workspace;
• and
• transmitting the particular data, the count of files reviewed in that project workspace, and the relative size of that project workspace to a client device to cause the client device to generate a graphical user interface and display the particular data using the graphical user interface and organized by the project workspace;
• determining whether a project workspace, of the one or more project workspaces, has been selected;
• in response to determining that a project workspace, of the one or more project workspaces, has been selected:
• determining, based on the selected project workspace, an identifier of the selected project workspace, a name of the selected project workspace, a corresponding relative size of the selected project workspace, and a corresponding count of files in the selected project workspace;
• causing displaying, as an overlay over the particular data, the identifier of the selected project workspace, the name of the selected project workspace, the corresponding relative size of the selected project workspace, and the corresponding count of files in the selected project workspace.

A computer-implemented method comprising:

• receiving, by a data access system, a request for data, wherein the request specifies one or more project workspaces to which the request for data pertains, and wherein the request specifies that for each project workspace, of the one or more project workspaces, a count of files reviewed in that project workspace is to be provided and a relative size of that project workspace is to be provided;
• wherein a project workspace, of one or more project workspaces, is allocated by the data access system based on the provided count of files to be reviewed in that project workspace and based on the size of the project workspace to be provided for reviewing corresponding files;
• parsing the request to determine the one or more project workspaces to which the request pertains;
• determining the data for the request for the one or more project workspaces;
• for each project workspace of the one or more project workspaces:
• determining particular data that is requested by the request for that project workspace;
• determining a count of files reviewed in that project workspace and a relative size of that project workspace;
• and
• transmitting the particular data, the count of files reviewed in that project workspace, and the relative size of that project workspace to a client device to cause the client device to generate a graphical user interface and display the particular data using the graphical user interface and organized by the project workspace;
• determining whether a project workspace, of the one or more project workspaces, has been selected;
• in response to determining that a project workspace, of the one or more project workspaces, has been selected:
• determining, based on the selected project workspace, an identifier of the selected project workspace, a name of the selected project workspace, a corresponding relative size of the selected project workspace, and a corresponding count of files in the selected project workspace;
• causing displaying, as an overlay over the particular data, the identifier of the selected project workspace, the name of the selected project workspace, the corresponding relative size of the selected project workspace, and the corresponding count of files in the selected project workspace.
