Data repair within productive system

A method comprising:

• performing an operation to modify one or more table entries from a corrupted base table in a productive environment, and in response, generating a child table in a secure environment that inherits the one or more table entries from the corrupted base table;
• executing operations to modify the one or more table entries in the child table within the secure environment to determine if the one or more modified table entries repair the corrupted base table;
• and
• when the repair is determined, writing the one or more modified table entries from the child table to the corrupted base table.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that when executed cause a computer to perform a method comprising:

• performing an operation to modify one or more table entries from a corrupted base table in a productive environment, and in response, generating a child table in a secure environment that inherits the one or more table entries from the corrupted base table;
• executing operations to modify the one or more table entries in the child table within the secure environment to determine if the one or more modified table entries repair the corrupted base table;
• and
• when the repair is determined, writing the one or more modified table entries from the child table to the corrupted base table.
