Abstract
A liquid-crystal display that includes a liquid-crystal module and a touch panel covering the liquid-crystal module. The liquid-crystal display includes a holder extending along the outer end of the liquid-crystal module, the holder holding the touch panel in a state of covering the liquid-crystal module. The liquid-crystal display includes a double-faced tape disposed between a surface of the touch panel and a surface of the holder facing each other, the double-faced tape fixing the touch panel and the holder together. The double-faced tape includes multiple segments continuously disposed in a direction where the holder extends, the segments being mutually separable.
Claims11
A display device that includes a display panel and a cover panel covering the display panel, the display device comprising:
- a holder extending at least along an outer end of the display panel, the holder holding the cover panel in a state of covering the display panel;
- and
- a fixing member disposed between a surface of the cover panel and a surface of the holder facing each other, the fixing member fixing the cover panel and the holder together, wherein
- the fixing member comprises
- a plurality of segments continuously disposed in a direction where the holder extends, the plurality of segments being mutually separable,
- a plurality of joints, each of the plurality of joints joining the segments adjacent to each other, and
- a plurality of slits, each of the plurality of slits extending in a direction intersecting with the direction where the holder extends, and
- the plurality of slits comprises
- an outer slit extending from an outer end of the holder toward an inner end of the holder, and
- an inner slit extending from the inner end of the holder toward the outer end of the holder.
A display device that includes a display panel and a cover panel covering the display panel, the display device comprising:
- a holder extending at least along an outer end of the display panel, the holder holding the cover panel in a state of covering the display panel;
- and
- a fixing member disposed between a surface of the cover panel and a surface of the holder facing each other, the fixing member fixing the cover panel and the holder together, wherein
- the fixing member comprises
- a plurality of segments continuously disposed in a direction where the holder extends, the plurality of segments being mutually separable,
- a plurality of joints, each of the plurality of joints joining the segments adjacent to each other, and
- a plurality of slits, each of the plurality of slits extending in a direction intersecting with the direction where the holder extends and
- extending to a half or more of a distance of the fixing member in the direction intersecting with the direction where the holder extends.
A display device that includes a display panel and a cover panel covering the display panel, the display device comprising:
- a holder extending at least along an outer end of the display panel, the holder holding the cover panel in a state of covering the display panel;
- and
- a fixing member disposed between a surface of the cover panel and a surface of the holder facing each other, the fixing member fixing the cover panel and the holder together, wherein
- the fixing member comprises
- a plurality of segments continuously disposed in a direction where the holder extends, the plurality of segments being mutually separable,
- a plurality of joints, each of the plurality of joints joining the segments adjacent to each other, and
- a plurality of slits, each of the plurality of slits extending in a direction intersecting with the direction where the holder extends,
- the plurality of slits arranged in the direction where the holder extends, and
- a pair of the plurality of slits adjacent to each other are mutually distant by more than a distance that is twice as great as a width of at least one slit of the plurality of slits.
