Automated data tokenization through networked sensors

A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:

• validating a sensor for detecting of user data of a user and retrieving financial information for the user;
• detecting the user data of the user within a location for transaction processing with a merchant using the sensor and a background operation of a user device of the user independent of user input to the user device or a merchant device of the merchant;
• determining that the user data indicates that the user is likely to engage in a transaction with the merchant;
• retrieving financial information for the user from the user device of the user using the background operation;
• determining an amount for the transaction with the merchant based on a risk rule;
• receiving a token from a token service provider for the financial information, wherein the token is limited for the transaction based on the amount, and wherein the token is generated by the token service provider independent of the user device transmitting a user request message to the token service provider for the token;
• and
• transmitting the token to one of the user device or the merchant device for the merchant.

A method comprising:

• validating a sensor for detecting of transaction initiation data between a user device and a merchant device at a merchant location and generating a token in response to the transaction initiation data;
• detecting the transaction initiation data through the sensor connected to a system at the merchant location using a background operation of the user device with the sensor independent of user input to the user device or the merchant device;
• determining the transaction initiation data corresponds to a likelihood of checkout that exceeds a threshold amount for a transaction at the merchant location;
• determining the token that can be used in electronic transaction processing between the user device and the merchant device, wherein the user device is previously onboarded for the electronic transaction processing using the token;
• and
• loading the token to at least one of the user device or the merchant device through the background operation independent of the user device transmitting a user request message for the token.
