Biometric ticketing

An access control system, comprising:

• at least one non-transitory storage medium that stores instructions;
• and
• at least one processing unit that executes the instructions to:
• determine an authorization system identifier for a person using a digital representation of a biometric;
• use the authorization system identifier to access authorization information for the person obtained from an authorization system, the digital representation of the biometric inaccessible to the authorization system;
• and
• determine whether to allow the person to pass based on the authorization information.

An access control system, comprising:

• at least one non-transitory storage medium that stores instructions;
• and
• at least one processing unit that executes the instructions to:
• determine an external system identifier for a person using a digital representation of a biometric;
• use the external system identifier to access pass information for the person obtained from an external system, the digital representation of the biometric inaccessible to the external system;
• and
• when the pass information for the person includes relevant pass information, indicate to allow the person to pass.
