Abstract
The present invention relates to exosomes, loaded with genetic material and methods of producing them and to the use of such exosomes for delivering genetic material in vivo, in particular the use of such exosomes in methods of gene therapy or gene silencing.

A pharmaceutical composition comprising exosomes comprising exogenous genetic material transfected into the exosome by a transfection reagent, wherein the exogenous genetic material is a therapeutic exogenous plasmid comprising a therapeutic gene operatively linked to a regulatory sequence.
An exosome comprising a therapeutic exogenous plasmid, wherein the therapeutic exogenous plasmid comprises a therapeutic gene operatively linked to a regulatory sequence.
