Novel compositions and methods for the treatment and prevention of malaria are disclosed herein.
Claims4
A method for treating a condition in a subject in need, the method comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a composition comprising one or more enumerated agents wherein the condition comprises of a symptom of malaria, wherein treating slows down or lessens the condition, and wherein the enumerated agent comprises
- wherein R1 is L-Ala, R2 is Aib, R3 is L-Val, R4 is D-Iva and R5 is L-Gln;
- wherein R1 is D-Iva, R2 is L-Gln, R3 is L-Ala, R4 is L-Ile and R5 is D-Iva;
- or
- wherein R1 is D-Iva and R2 L-Gln.
