Abstract
A device includes a handle, an expandable structure including a plurality of splines extending from a proximal hub to a distal hub, a first electrode on a first spline of the plurality of splines, an outer tube extending from the handle to the proximal hub, and a shaft extending through the outer tube from the handle to the distal hub. The expandable structure has a collapsed state and a self-expanded state. The handle is configured to retract the shaft. Retracting the shaft may expand the expandable structure outward of the self-expanded state.

An electrode assembly for use in neurostimulation treatment, the electrode assembly comprising:
- a segment comprising walls at least partially defining a U-shaped channel having a flat bottom and sidewalls extending up from the flat bottom, the segment comprising molded plastic coupleable to a strut;
- at least three electrodes over the U-shaped channel and opposite the flat bottom of the U-shaped channel, the electrodes of the at least three electrodes longitudinally spaced along one side of the segment, each electrode of the at least three electrodes having a rectangular cross-section;
- at least three conductors, each conductor of the at least three conductors electrically connected to a bottom side of a different electrode of the electrodes of the at least three electrodes, the at least three conductors positioned in the U-shaped channel proximate the flat bottom of the U-shaped channel and under the at least three electrodes, the at least three conductors spaced and substantially parallel to each other in the U-shaped channel, each of the at least three conductors coated with insulative material;
- and
- an insulating sheet covering the at least three conductors.
An electrode assembly for use in neuromodulation, the electrode assembly comprising:
- a segment comprising walls at least partially defining a U-shaped channel having a bottom and sidewalls extending up from the bottom;
- a plurality of round electrodes longitudinally spaced along the segment;
- and
- a plurality of conductors, each conductor of the plurality of conductors electrically connected to a bottom side of a different electrode of the plurality of electrodes, the plurality of conductors positioned in the U-shaped channel under the plurality of electrodes, the plurality of conductors spaced and substantially parallel to each other in the U-shaped channel, wherein insulating material fills the U-shaped channel and extends upwards to at least partially cover edges of the plurality of electrodes.
