Abstract
A novel maize variety designated AN1081 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant comprise crossing maize variety AN1081 with another maize plant are provided. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into AN1081 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are provided. Hybrid maize seed, plants or plant parts are produced by crossing the variety AN1081 or a locus conversion of AN1081 with another maize variety.
Claims20
A seed, plant, plant part, or plant cell of inbred maize variety AN1081, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202109066.
A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of inbred maize variety AN1081, representative seed of the maize variety AN1081 having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202109066, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion, and wherein the plant or a plant grown from the converted seed, plant part or plant cell comprises the locus conversion and otherwise comprises all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety AN1081 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
An F1 hybrid seed of variety AN1081 produced by crossing a plant or plant part of inbred maize variety AN1081, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under NCMA accession number 202109066 with a different maize plant, wherein inbred maize variety AN1081 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed, wherein the transgene was introduced into inbred maize variety AN1081 by backcrossing or genetic transformation.
