Abstract
A wireless communications system configured to perform wireless communication by using a first band dedicated to the system and a second band shared by the system and another wireless communications system, the system including: a base station configured to transmit in the first band to the terminal, a control signal permitting data transmission in the second band from a terminal to the base station; and the terminal configured to detect an available carrier wave of the second band after a predetermined time from the transmission of the control signal by the base station, the terminal performing the data transmission after waiting until detection of the available carrier wave.
Claims12
A wireless communications system configured to perform wireless communication by using a first band dedicated to the system and a second band shared by the system and another wireless communications system, the system comprising:
- a base station configured to transmit in the first band to a terminal, a control signal that permits the terminal to transmit uplink data, by using the second band, to the base station if a busy state in the second band is not newly detected during a back-off time after a certain time;
- and
- the terminal configured to transmit the uplink data by using the second band to the base station after reception of the control signal from the base station,
- wherein the first band is licensed band and the second band is unlicensed band.
A base station of a wireless communications system performing a wireless communication by using a first band dedicated to the system and a second band shared by the system and another wireless communications system, the base station comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- processor circuitry coupled to the memory, the processor circuitry configured to:
- transmit in the first band to a terminal, a control signal that permits the terminal to transmit uplink data, by using the second band, to the base station if a busy state in the second band is not newly detected during a back-off time after a certain time;
- and
- receive the uplink data from the terminal that detects an available carrier wave of the second band and transmits the uplink data after waiting until detection of the available carrier wave,
- wherein the first band is licensed band and the second band is unlicensed band.
A terminal of a wireless communications system configured to perform wireless communication by using a first band dedicated to the system and a second band shared by the system and another wireless communications system, the terminal comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- processor circuitry configured to
- receive a control signal that permits the terminal to transmit uplink data by using the second band, the control signal being received from the base station, which transmits the control signal in the first band to the terminal if a busy state in the second band is not newly detected during a back-off time after a certain time;
- and
- detect an available carrier wave of the second band, and transmits the uplink data after waiting until detection of the available carrier wave,
- wherein the first band is licensed band and the second band is unlicensed band.
