Methods for purifying 89Zr are provided, 89Zr compositions are provided, isotope compositions are provided that can include: a radio isotope and a nanoparticle, and methods for radio labeling monoclonal antibodies are provided.
Claims4
A method for purifying 89Zr, the method comprising:
- loading a hydroxamate resin column with a loading solution comprising HCl and 89Zr;
- eluting the 89Zr from the column with an oxalic acid solution having molarity of less than 1 to form a first mixture comprising 89Zr in oxalate form;
- loading another resin with the mixture of 89Zr in oxalate form;
- converting the other resin to formate form;
- and
- eluting the 89Zr from the other resin to form a second mixture comprising 89Zr in chloride form.
