Abstract
The present invention relates to a flexible plastic film, and more specifically to a flexible plastic film having excellent flexibility while exhibiting high hardness. According to the present invention, the flexible plastic film exhibits flexibility, bending property, high hardness, scratch resistance and high transparency, and hardly has a risk of damaging the film even in a state of being warped for a long period of time, and thereby can be usefully applied to flexible mobile devices, display devices, front face and display unit of various instrument panels, and the like.
Claims12
A flexible plastic film comprising:
- a substrate wherein the substrate has an elastic modulus of 4 to 9 GPa as measured according to ASTM D882;
- and an ultraviolet-cured coating layer formed on at least one surface of the substrate, wherein the thickness ratio between the substrate and the ultraviolet-cured coating layer is 1:0.05 to 1:1,
- wherein the ultraviolet-cured coating layer comprises a cross-linked copolymer of an acrylate-based binder and a urethane acrylate-based binder, and inorganic fine particles having a bimodal particle size distribution comprising a first inorganic fine particle group having d50 diameter of 20 to 35 nm and a second inorganic fine particle group having d50 diameter of 40 to 130 nm, wherein the first inorganic fine particle group has d10 diameter of 10 to 19 nm and d90 diameter of 25 to 40 nm, and the second inorganic fine particle group has d10 diameter of 25 to 110 nm and d90 diameter of 60 to 150 nm,
- wherein the flexible plastic film exhibits a pencil hardness of 6 H or more under a load of 750 g, and has properties such that the flexible plastic film does not lift by a height of more than 0.5 mm from a flat surface according to a bending stability test in which the flexible plastic film is folded around a 4 mm rod and is then spread on the flat surface.
