Abstract
A light-emitting device can be folded in such a manner that a flexible light-emitting panel is supported by a plurality of housings which are provided spaced from each other and the light-emitting panel is bent so that surfaces of adjacent housings are in contact with each other. Furthermore, in the light-emitting device, in which part or the whole of the housings have magnetism, the two adjacent housings can be fixed to each other by a magnetic force when the light-emitting device is used in a folded state.
Claims14
An electronic device comprising:
- a flexible light-emitting panel;
- and
- a housing supporting the light-emitting panel,
- wherein the housing consists of a plurality of members,
- wherein a first member of the plurality of members covers a portion of a first side, a third side, and a fourth side of a display surface side of the light-emitting panel,
- wherein a second member of the plurality of members covers a portion of a second side, the third side, and the fourth side of the display surface side of the light-emitting panel,
- wherein a third member of the plurality of members covers a portion of the third side of the display surface side of the light-emitting panel,
- wherein a fourth member of the plurality of members covers a portion of the fourth side of the display surface side of the light-emitting panel,
- wherein the electronic device is configured to be bendable so that a display surface of the light-emitting panel faces inward, and
- wherein the electronic device is configured to hold a bent state by magnetic force of a magnetic material in the housing.
A display device comprising:
- a flexible display panel;
- and
- a housing supporting the display panel,
- wherein the housing consists of a plurality of members,
- wherein a first member of the plurality of members covers a portion of a first side, a third side, and a fourth side of a display surface side of the display panel,
- wherein a second member of the plurality of members covers a portion of a second side, the third side, and the fourth side of the display surface side of the display panel,
- wherein the display device is configured to be bendable so that a display surface of the display panel faces inward, and
- wherein, in a bent state, the display device is configured to be fixable by magnetic force.
A display device comprising:
- a flexible display panel;
- and
- a housing,
- wherein the housing consists of a plurality of members,
- wherein a first member of the plurality of members covers a portion of a plurality of sides of the display panel,
- wherein a second member of the plurality of members covers a portion of the plurality of sides of the display panel,
- wherein the display device is configured to be bendable so that a display surface of the display panel faces inward, and
- wherein, in a bent state, the display device is configured to be fixable by magnetic force.
