Abstract
A network device may schedule orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmissions. The network device may determine frequency resources and streams to send to a user equipment (UE) based on the received first assistance information and channel quality associated with the UE. The network device may send to the first network device, second assistance information to facilitate the first network device to schedule OFDM transmissions. Scheduled OFDM transmissions from the network device may partially overlap in time with OFDM transmissions from the first network device.
Claims8
A network device comprising:
- an interface configured to receive, from a first network device, first assistance information that indicates channel conditions at the first network device;
- a processor is configured to schedule, dynamically, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmissions, wherein the processor determines frequency resources and a number of streams to send to a user equipment (UE) based on the first assistance information and channel quality associated with the UE;
- and
- the processor is configured to send, to the first network device, second assistance information to facilitate the first network device to schedule OFDM transmissions, wherein scheduled OFDM transmissions of the network device selects frequency resources-based on the first assistance information.
A method performed by a network device, the method comprising:
- receiving, from a first network device, first assistance information that indicates channel conditions at the first network device;
- scheduling, dynamically, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmissions, wherein the network device determines frequency resources and a number of streams to send to a user equipment (UE) based on the first assistance information and channel quality associated with the UE;
- and
- sending, to the first network device, second assistance information to facilitate the first network device to schedule OFDM transmissions, wherein scheduled OFDM transmissions of the network device avoids frequency resources, based on the first assistance information.
