Abstract
A display control device includes: an image data acquisition unit configured to acquire image data as a result of imaging by an imaging unit that images a situation around a vehicle; and a display processing unit configured to display, on a display unit, a peripheral image indicating the situation around the vehicle generated based on the image data and also display, on the peripheral image, a first vehicle image indicating a current state of the vehicle and a second vehicle image indicating a future state of the vehicle when the vehicle moves toward a target position and to change a display mode of at least one of the first vehicle image and the second vehicle image according to a remaining distance to the target position of the vehicle.
Claims10
A display control device comprising:
- an image data acquisition unit configured to acquire image data as a result of imaging by an imaging unit that images a situation around a vehicle;
- and
- a display processing unit configured to display, on a display unit, a peripheral image indicating the situation around the vehicle generated based on the image data and also display, on the peripheral image,
- a first vehicle image indicating a current state of the vehicle and a second vehicle image indicating a future state of the vehicle when the vehicle moves toward a parking target position,
- wherein the display processing unit maintains a constant distance between the display position of the first vehicle image and the display position of the second vehicle image when a remaining distance to the parking target position of the vehicle exceeds a threshold value, and changes the distance between the display position of the first vehicle image and the display position of the second vehicle image according to the remaining distance when the remaining distance to the parking target position of the vehicle is below the threshold value.
