Abstract
Methods and systems are described for detecting movement of a portable electronic device; receiving video data, for a first object, captured by a video capture device during the movement; and utilizing the video data, presenting a video by a display device of the portable electronic device that is viewable to a user for directing an attention of the user in connection with the first object.
Claims22
A method, comprising:
- detecting a movement of a portable electronic device in a first direction, that results from a user walking with the portable electronic device in the first direction;
- receiving video data captured in a first direction by a video capture device during the movement, where a first object is in a second direction;
- and
- presenting a video by a display device of the portable electronic device that is viewable to the user for directing the user in a second direction towards the first object.
A portable electronic device, comprising:
- a display device;
- an input device;
- at least one non-transitory memory storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors in communication with the display device, the input device, and the at least one non-transitory memory, wherein the one or more processors execute the instructions to cause the portable electronic device to:
- detect a movement of the portable electronic device in a first direction, that results from a user walking with the portable electronic device in the first direction;
- receive video data captured in a first direction by a video capture device during the movement, where a first object is in a second direction;
- and
- present a video by the display device of the portable electronic device that is viewable to the user for directing the user in a second direction towards the first object.
A non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a portable electronic device, cause the portable electronic device to:
- detect movement of the portable electronic device in a first direction, that results from a user walking with the portable electronic device in the first direction;
- receive video data captured in a first direction by a video capture device during the movement, where a first object is in a second direction;
- and
- present a video by a display device of the portable electronic device that is viewable to the user for directing the user in a second direction towards the first object.
