Abstract
An overhead storage bin that includes a housing that defines a bin interior, a bucket or a door that is movable with respect to the housing between an open and a closed position, a projector positioned in or on the housing, and a display member positioned on the housing, wherein the projector is configured to project information onto the display member.

An aircraft overhead storage bin comprising:
- a housing that defines a bin interior,
- a bucket or a door that is movable with respect to the housing between an open and a closed position,
- a projector positioned in or on the housing, and
- a display portion positioned on the housing, wherein the projector is configured to project information onto the display portion, wherein the display portion is semi-transparent.
